Since 2013, our restaurant has been housed in the Piarist building that has been home to so much. The Piarists opened their school here in 1717, and it's here that you'll find the former gymnasium. The gigantic ceilings and constructivist architecture are in perfect harmony with the work of the Hungarian designers and artists who eventually gave birth to KIOSK. A Turkish bath is still hidden beneath our expansive kitchen. Since we opened ten years ago, life has been going on inside the sturdy walls. There is no event we haven't dreamed up and no time of day we haven't filled with life. KIOSK is a Turkish word meaning a place where you can get everything you need for everyday life. And indeed: we have everything you need: beyond delicious snacks and drinks, we have experience, love, care and smiles.

The KIOSK atmosphere

Located in the heart of Budapest, our restaurant has a ten-year history and has become the epitome of relaxed, reliable and high quality gastronomic service. We've created a community meeting place at 15 March Square where everyone can get out and have a good time. From children, to students, to business people, from couples to large families, KIOSK is for everyone.

Face behind KIOSK

Hubert Hlatky-Schlichter has been a gastronomic entrepreneur for twenty-five years and is a committed philanthropist. The places he has created have become synonymous with joie de vivre, joy and celebration. Hubert believes that success is only valid if you don't reap it alone, so he shares the credit. That's why he created the Helping Angels Foundation, through which he has carried out numerous charitable projects. His kitchen regularly cooks for the needy, but he has also organised a medical team to the poorest country in the world, Malawi. The founder of KIOSK is also a firm believer in the need to unite our society, not divide it, and that hate and hatred lead nowhere, but to love
